Blogspot Haul!

Blogspot Haul!

So I had tried several times to make a haul video for this stuff, however because my life can be so freakin chaotic at times I never uploaded the haul. Everyt time I would try to do the video I would get interrupted left and right so I just decided I would do a blogspot haul!
So the things you see below I got about a month or so ago.

From Ross for $6.99! The material is thin almost like a nylon material and it is so easy to pair it with other things. I usually wear a long sleeved form fitting shirt with a long chain necklace with this. The “vest” pulls the look together and is super stylish!

From Ross $7.99! I have several shirts just like this but in different colors. I love how the shirt hugs at the waist and is flowing through the center. The material is a light cotton and uber comfortable. I have been pairing this shirt with my Owl necklace from Charolette Russe.

Dillard’s on sale for $4.99! Perfect for the fall season. I love these arm warmers! These are in black and can be easily warn with really anything. Be creative and work it!

Gianni Bini My most loved shoe brand EVER! Gianni Bini is known for having chic and classy, dress up or dress down shoes! $49.99. This pair is nice because they have an elastic strap that goes across the bridge of the foot with glitter accents, sure to sparkle with a cute skirt for dressing up or wear with skinny jeans for a more casual/nice look!

So I have been wanting a new pair of flats was originally looking for black but My sister, My mom, Step-dad and I went to DSW and I found these!! On sale even for around $18! They are a light tan patent leather and the cute bow at the toe was a perfect touch! I usually wear these with jeans, my purple top from Ross and a cute light tan sweater top.

Michelle D flats! On sale for $20! Normally I wouldn’t like flats like these but they are so comfortable and easy to pair up for a casual look.

Clinique 3-Step skin care- Oily-combination oilyhttp://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=342401&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results
I have used the Clinique 3-step skin care line before and have always loved it. Macy’s was doing there gift last month and I couldn’t believe the awesome deal I got! Gift with purchase of $50 or more gets you all of the above! I got the cute silver bag that holds my cleanser, massively gigantic clarifying lotion + pump, and my all time favorite dramatically different moisturizing gel! As the gift, I got the adorable apple makeup bag and small apply “coin purse size” bag (mine came with a green one but my sister got this too in red and we switched these) with sample sizes of Dramatically different moisturizing gel and lotion, anti-wrinkle cream, 7-Day Scrub, Lipstick, small blush and eye shadow trio and a sample size mascara. Fabulous deal! I have been using the program now for a few weeks and it has helped in clearing up my skin!

Laura Gellar Bronze N Brighten Bronzer $29.50 . http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P161109&categoryId=C14908
I apply this daily to give my face a beautiful glow. It has color corrective pigments in it so it looks great on any skin tone! First I apply it to the apples of my cheeks over my blush and then whatever is left on my brush I dust all over my face.

NAPOLEON PERDIS NP Set Show Loose Dust Duo in South Africa ($26 @ target.com) The color payoff is incredible, the only thing I don’t care for too much of this was the shadow wipes off too easy, resulting in some fading early in the day, however I have never used a primer under it so I imagine if a primer such as my favorite, Urban Decay Primer Potion, is used it would be better!

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow pencil in Horse Radish $3.99 In Ulta stores ONLY, not available online
The formula of the jumbo eye shadow pencils are great, they are creamy and can be used alone or as a great base.

Funky eyelashes I found at my local thrift store! I will be using these in fun upcoming tutorials!

Tinkerbell Tutorial w/ Special Guest

Amerie is always so excited when she sees herself in my videos. As mother/daughter bonding time, I thought I would do her makeup and as a bonus to her, make her the star of a video. We had so much fun doing this. Amerie loved the look and of course loves dressing up. She is only five and this is the ONLY time she is able to wear makeup (Halloween time)

After I had finished her makeup I realized there were things I would have done differently for Halloween night, since this was just a rough draft.

*Before I applied the green base (NYX Jumbo Eye shadow pencil in Horse Radish) I would apply yellow or gold (Honey) to the inner eye area. I noticed the green was just too much and overpowered the look a bit. You want to use a lighter color in the inner eye area to open up the eye.

*Also when I applied the color around the temples, instead of the gold, pink and copper I would just use the shimmery pink (Scratch). The gold (Honey) mixed with the copper (Shag) seemed to darker that area too much and almost looked a bit dirty.

*For the lower lash line I would not have taken the green under, I would have liked to use the shimmery pink (Scratch) to lighten the area since Amerie has young and little eyes! =D

As far as changes go, that’s all I would have done different. Thanks for reading this blog! Come back next time!

Mario Badescu Skin Care and other FREEBIES!

I had seen MissVeronyka's video a while back about her getting these awesome samples from Mario Badescu as well as many other freebies from the site mentioned below. Yeah Xsparkage http://www.youtube/user/xsparkage did a review on some Mario Badescu products. I had received my samples several months ago which I have my own opinions on about the products.... Perhaps I will make my own review. But I HATE doing reviews after someone else that's big on YouTube already has because then I feel like I look like a follower so I may or may not do that.

Any way!
Because I am a freebie junkie, I really got excited when MissVeronyka mentioned this website below. I get ONE daily email (not a million anoying emails like other companies) from http://www.shop4freebies.com and they usually have something if not several items I "order" for free!

Example of freebies offered:

Hair care samples
Lotions
Coupons for restaurants and stores
Hats/T-Shirts
Tampons/Pads/Liners
Diaper samples/coupons
Magazine subscription (Trails)
and even Free sample contacts (Of course you have to have an eye exam first!)
And so much more!

Check out http://www.mariobadescu.com For sample skin care products

New Tattoos Wanted!

Ok so I was hoping to get it for my birthday but it probably won't be for a while because there is this little thing called "money" that I need first! Heres what I want.

The month of May's flower is the Lily of the Valley...My birthday is May therefore it makes sense to get the May's flower on me. I want my tattoos to symbolize something special to me.

I currently have two tattoos, my first tat is a VERY small butterfly on my upper back, regret that one! I thought it would hurt so I wanted to start small...it felt great so I wish I would have gotten something else bigger! Also on my wrist I have a butterfly that I like but wish it was a monarch. The Monarch butterfly reminds me of my childhood because my beloved house I grew up in we had this HUGE back yard and I remember chasing those butterflies....moving on....

So I have really been wanting the Lily of the Valley behind my ear. I WILL get it eventually.... Here are some ideas....I realize one pic is on a girls back but thats why it is called and "idea."

Weight loss Journey....

Ok I'm offically starting today!

I really want to drop some pounds....

Why? Because for ME PERSONALLY I am at an unhealthy weight...for my height and frame I would be considered OBESE! I hate that word! I want to hear "fit" and "healthy" I do not want to be "skinny" I want to be HEALTHY!

I do want to be here for my daughters and husband and be able to run with them and I am tired of feeling tired all of the time, and I am tired of having that nasty, unhealthy feeling in my body...Time for a change eh? Yup!

I am currently.....drum roll......197lbs.......

I want to eventually get to 140lbs where I used to be pre-babies!I want to do this by my birthday next year, May 19, 2010 =D

I remember being that weight and thinking I wanted to be smaller but now I want to be the weight and just firm!

Heres the plan....
1. Workout in the morning as often as I can, I am not setting days because I am always so busy I would feel disapointed if I didn't work out the day I am "supposed" to. So lets just say for now atleast 3 times a week for 30mins - 60mins....ok? Good!

2. I have ordered my Hemp Shakes which are packed full of nutrients and protein...I will drink these for morning and breakfast and then eat whatever I want for dinner....but I will be sensable about dinner and still try and keep my portions in check.

3. Journaling or bloging....I will try to post everyday what I ate and if I exersiced, what I did, etc...

4. I have followers on YouTube...I will be making videos on there following my journey and I hope to get support from there. EcLuxeDesigns is also doing her weight loss journey on her YouTube so maybe we can support eachother!

5. I won't forget there will be days I will fail, but I will pick myself up and get back on track.

I am tired of saying "Ok, Tomorrow I will start." TODAY IS THAT DAY....FINALLY!
I can already tell this is going to be tough! But I can do it!

Goals Review:

By May 19, 2010 I want to be AT 140lbs.
Need to lose 57lbs!
197lbs - 57lbs = 140lbs
Learn portion control!
Cut back on fast food!
